fyeahmetal SFU records live and die on whatever band is backing Chris Barnes at the time. Unborn and its predecessor Undead are a 2-record bright spot in the SFU discography featuring Rob Arnold and Kevin Talley. 5 guitarists write music here, including Ola Englund (Haunted) and Ben Savage (Whitechapel), who contribute the most interesting songs. As a whole, this record is well-written and well-executed death metal, providing a more colorful than usual palette for SFU's grunt and chug. Favorite track: Prophecy.
